He is one of the active and discrete Greek composers of his generation, having won twelve awards and distinctions.

He has written 82 compositions to date, including works for various solo instruments and chamber music ensembles, string and symphonic orchestra, one concertante and one symphonic cantata, many cycles of songs, vocal compositions, choral music, musical narrations, electronic music, theatre and film music.
His compositions are often performed in Greece and other countries by various well-known artists, ensembles and orchestras, commonly receiving good reviews.
Several of these works have been published by Papagrigoriou – Nakas, etc and have been recorded on cd by Subways, etc, included his personal cd, ‘One night when…’.
His main tutors were:
- Theodore Antoniou (Composition Diploma – Hellenic Conservatory).
- Thomas Simaku (PhD in Music – Composition at the University of York, U.K.).
- Costas Cotsiolis (Guitar Diploma at the Athens Conservatory).
He is a board member of the Greek Composers’ Union.
He was the director of the Polytonon magazine and the president of the Corfu International Guitar and Composition Congress – Festival.
He is a choir conductor, he gives lectures and seminars, he has published educational guitar books and he teaches music in various music schools.
He lives and works in Athens.
